Every member of the morning Bootcamp program completed the 2011 Woodford to Glenbrook 25KM Trail Race raising over $3000 and winning the Top Fundraising Team award along the way. Most of the team had never walked or run more than 10km before training for this event.
In 2011 Tony provided training and advice for two novice Pairs teams that completed the North Face 100km Trail Race in the Blue Mountains. This race is regarded as one of the hardest trail running events in the world. In 2012 he helped train the 2012 North Face 100 Ladies Pairs Team to a new course record. He has trained clients to personal best in Triathlons such as Nepean Triathlon, Half Ironman and Full Ironman distances. He has a sub 13 hour North face 100km time so he knows what it takes to complete the gruelling event.
This year he trained a team of ladies to complete the Wild Endurance 100km trail race event. 5 of the 6 had never run much more than 20km prior to beginning training.
Clients of Blue Mountains Fitness have been provided with thorough training programmes and progressive goals to enable them to complete 5km fun runs, 10km events, mountain bike races, the City to Surf, Half Marathons, Marathons and Ultramarathons!
